Gifted Program

Paulding Exempted Village Schools recognize that learners within the school population have unique interests, needs, abilities, and potential for accomplishments. A variety of programs are available here and at the state level.

Differentiated instruction provides opportunities for advancement throughout our district. Structured intervention times in both elementary buildings allow gifted students to advance at their own pace.

Differentiation also occurs at the middle school level. Advanced math students in seventh grade are taking pre-algebra, and advanced math students in eighth grade are taking algebra.

Students have the opportunity to participate in advanced placement classes at the high school level. Summer Honors Institutes are located at various sites throughout the state.

Organizations such as Quiz Bowl, Science Olympiad, Science Fair, and Engineering Team offer opportunities above and beyond what is offered in the classroom.
