Paulding FFA Holds First FFA Meeting Paulding FFA Sept meeting and Oct Newsletter

The Paulding FFA held its first meeting of the school year on Friday, September 18th in the Paulding High School Auditeria. The meeting was called to order and led by President,  Sydney Reineck. We had 10 FFA officers who presented opening ceremonies to start the meeting.  We discussed some upcoming events such as fruit sales which will be kicking off on October 8th. We will be participating in the Virtual Farm Science Review which will take place on September 22nd-24th. All FFA competition events are going to be virtual this year due to COVID-19. At the end of the meeting, we all played a team-building game which was Simon Says. The FFA members at the meeting were socially distanced with a total of 65 members, 2 advisors. We are excited for the upcoming year and new opportunities as a chapter!

Kids Eat Free Program Kids Eat Free Program

The USDA has extended several flexibilities with school meal services, until December 31, 2020, or until funds are depleted. Students who attend school in person who choose to eat school breakfast and lunch will not be charged for those meals.  This is wonderful news and will be a great financial relief for families in our school district. This is for grades Preschool through 12 including virtual learning students.  Beginning Thursday, September 17, 2020, through December 31, 2020, breakfast and lunch will be FREE to ALL PRESCHOOL STUDENTS by way of a 5-day meal pickup.  Meal bags are for parent/guardian pick up only, and will not be consumed during school.  Each Meal bag will include a 5 day supply of ready to eat breakfast and lunch meals along with milk.

2020-2021 Paulding FFA Officer Team Retreat Paulding FFA Officer Team Holds Retreat!

The Paulding FFA officer team traveled to Hocking Hills Ohio on July 29th - 31st for their annual
FFA officer retreat. The purpose of this trip was for the officers to get to know each other better
through team building activities and bonding. There were two advisors and eleven officers and
one parent chaperone on the trip.

The officer team truly benefitted from this time spent together, because it helped us get
to know each other more and set goals for our chapter. It will help us work together in the
upcoming year. Thanks to the Paulding FFA Alumni for their support of this trip. It was a great
experience for our team!!
