This week during PPL our staff participated in Subject Level meetings and then met in their TBTs and SBTS. Our paraprofessionals received ASL training.
This week in PPL our staff members had professional development in regard to Autism as it was Autism Awareness Day. They also co-planned upcoming lessons in preparation for the Ohio State Tests and End of Course exams.
During this week's PPL Building Leadership Teams met and the paraprofessionals did Part 2 of their American Sign Language training.
This week during PPL our teaching staff continued to have building level PD which included the following explicit instruction topics: learning intentions, success criteria, specific feedback and teacher clarity. They also met by departments in each building to talk about curriculum mapping and the upcoming state tests. Our paraprofessionals continued their professional development and also did work in their classrooms.
This week during our PPL our staff met as subject level teams and grade level teams. They later met in the teacher based and student based teams to co-plan and to discuss state test preparations. Our paraprofessionals were in part one of ASL sign language training today.
