Paulding High School's Personal Growth and Positive Mindset students are participating in the newly founded Paulding Mentoring Program this year. Last week they met with their 4th grade mentees for the first time, and had a great time getting to know one another while also playing games. The mentors and mentees will be meeting a couple times each month this year.

Former Oakwood resident Orval Mullen, who turned 100 on 2/22/22, was presented with his High School Diploma  on Saturday, September 3, at the Oakwood Alumni Banquet.  Orval had to leave high school before graduating due to family circumstances and entered the Army in 1942. He served in several battles and campaigns in Europe and received a Purple Heart.  He was honorably discharged in 1945. Congratulation Orvall!  Thank you for your service!
